How The Masks We Wear
Limit Our Own Vision
&
Sometimes Scare Others
What is it that blocks us from being in these wholesome mind states?
- Love, Relating with Others, Shared Humanity (not only Type 2)
- Effectively Raising People Up, Authenticity (not only Type 3)
- Depth, Beauty, Equanimity (not only Type 4)
- Knowing, Wisdom, Omniscience (not only Type 5)
- Loyalty, Courage, Advocacy (not only Type 6)
- Joy, Freedom, Potential (not only Type 7)
- Innocence, Strength, Passion (not only Type 8)
- Interconnection, Harmony, Will (not only Type 9)
- Being of Use, Integrity, Serenity (not only Type 1)
This retreat day assumes a solid familiarity with the system, and we have each type to be represented in the day's workshop. Expect self-reflections with inquiries such as described above, and dyads/triads/small groups and panels of shared-type participants exploring their own worldviews on the natural high-qualities states for everyone's experience and benefit.
Friends whether they are in Portland Oregon, Newport Oregon, or in a contemplative study group with Taoism & Enneagram author Bill Schafer in Oaxaca, facilitators Deb Lyman, LCSW (6) & Dale Rhodes, M.S., M.A. (4) are certified trainers of The Enneagram who lightly call themselves "Loyal & Royal" or on less-optimal days "The Viper & The Griper." They love exploring how the map of The Enneagram can be used to learn more about the actual territory of being fully human.
Join with 27 other Enneagram Folks live and local. If you talk type, you should be with us.

You two are such a refreshing pair.
You work so well together and with such good humor!!

PLEASE NOTE:
- Participants will receive brief reflection questions and handouts just prior to the retreat day. No major prep needed.
- There is no food or coffee allowed in the retreat space, it is a contemplative Quaker Meeting Hall.
- Lunch is 12:30-2:30 on your own at the plentiful food options nearby, and we encourage you to join with other participants if you like. You will have a few reflection questions to consider at this time.
- An optional no-host Thai Dinner follows immediately afterwards nearby. This is always fun community time, so plan to enjoy it with us.
